Default Grand daughter- worked on hair and ear

Hi, worked for quite a while last night and this morning needed a break so I shyed away from starting the eyes and mouth and worked on the hair and ear. I am going to my carving club tommarrow so I can ask a few questions and maybe get some assistance from some of the more advanced carvers. If you have any suggestions, comments tips etc. don't be afraid to chime in , Ineed all the help I can get. I'm a long way from being as good as I want to be.

It looks relly good to me...I would be afraid to try and carve a life like portrait of anyone I knew, especially a relative. You will have a fine heirloom when you finish it..keep up the great work.
