Default Gotta love the irony

So, besides a few slip-ups here and there, I'm pretty good about wearing my protective thumb guards and glove. I'd say 98% of the time while carving, I've got them on and make a conscious effort to discipline myself to wear them.

Yesterday, after a couple good hours of carving with no cuts or stab wounds, I was feeling pretty proud of myself. I take off my protective gear, clean up, go to make my son his lunch, and get a nice long gash in my hand from trying to open the aluminum-topped microwavable baby food!

I guess irony can be pretty ironic sometimes.

Keep a electricians bandaid around. A roll of ecectrical tape goes a long way.

Maybe FUWUTI??

I almost never cut myself while carving, and I don't use gloves/thumb guards. But I'm tempted to get some for use around the house. I gashed myself a good one the other day picking up a broken dish.
