Default Got to love collectors

The paint was barely dry when I posted the new carving on my website.

It sold in one hour, you have to appreciate carving collectors because they do appreciate our carvings.

Very nice Hobo Rick. I think mine would not bring but maybe 4.25. Thanks for sharing.

Ron, you might be surprised, with the right group of collectors, your work could outsell mine.

Well done Rick. Is that a record now? Quickest carving that you've sold?
Just curious.

No Bob,
I believe the record is 34 minutes to sell a carving from my website.

I have the advantage of a collector's mailing list; it isn't difficult to set up, but it does take time to find collectors who like your carvings.

Also, I only complete a couple carvings each year; that makes them more desirable to collectors.

Teri Embrey introduced me to mailing lists; some of her collectors will buy carvings sight-unseen.

Congratulations, Rick -- That's swell... and totally understandable.

$425 direct is $850 at a gallery!!

Rick, love the paint job. Must have been interesting painting all of those stripes. No mystery to me why a collector would want your carvings!
