Hi guys and gals, Am wondering if carving golfball cores (not the ones that are known to be too hard to carve) will damage my carving tools which are sharpened for Basswood use. Would prefer not to spend money for a separate set of tools, if possible. Opinions based upon experience, please ![]() Many thanks, Mike |

Mike, I don't think golf ball carving harms regular wood carving tools, but it does dull then a bit. Usually, just a quick stropping session will revive them for wood. Donna_T
