Default Going Broke to Compete!

Now I know why some don't like to compete. It's expensive!

I just figured up how much it will cost me to put in the entries in the Dayton show and it comes to almost $50.00! So, adding in the table costs and Buffet tickets, before I open the pickup door and start down the road to Ohio I'm out of pocket to the tune of almost $160.00! That's not counting the gas, lodging and meal costs. Jeeez!

That job down at WalMart pushing carts around the parking lot is starting to look better and better!

Lynn,

You know I completly understand! Between the time, the cost of gas , the food, going any distance can get costly quickly.

My mother goes to Ind. quite often , twice this year it was cheaper to fly than to drive. Air fare from Balt to Louisville was 98.00 round trip the cost in gas would have been over 200.00 round trip .. one 10 hour trip one 2 hours ... kind of crazy .

Lynn , It's the journey not the distination! (grin) So you can not count the travel, gas,and boarding expences, or food,....Anyways, your going to win all and probably more back in prize money with your carving entries!
