Default Gnomes and/or Trolls, Tom Wolfe Style?

On the last page of Tom Wolfe's Carving Gnomes book as well as on page 57 in his book, Santa and his Friends, Carving with Tom Wolfe, Tom has a couple of different styled long haired gnomes or troll like characters, neither of which is painted. I'm interested in finding addtional reference photos of characters like these, either by Mr. Wolfe, or by other carvers. Can anyone point me in the right direction? Much appreciated. Lazy Ike

You might try searching for cartoons or images of trolls and gnomes on the Internet.

Thanks. I've been trying that on and off for a year or so now. I have a few such images however I've not found any others that I like as much as the two examples I mentioned, thus the reason for my post here. Thanks again. Lazy Ike
