Default Gnomes

I 've had a request to carve some gnomes. I have a pattern of the standard gnome but nothing for the small or squat version gnome where just the eyes and beard are shown under the hat. Can anyone point me in the right direction for a pattern please? Magic

Oh Gnome, say it isn't so! I see you still don't have a pattern so I'm kicking this post up to the top for another try.

Have you looked at the book carving Santa's Elves and Gnomes. It might have some ideas. I actually get some of my gnome ideas by going to harbor Freight and local stores and taking pictures of the plastic gnomes in the stores. I usally take a front and side view photo. Also woodcarving illustrated had a good gnome pattern a few years back.

Thanks for the tip on the book, Going to Harbor Freight is a bit far for me so I'll track the book down instead. Magic
