Default Glow In The Dark Carved Snake Cane

It's been a really wonderful day here today.

To start the day, my daughter and I went out and shot our pistols and rifles. I think that for a girl of 15, she's almost a better shot with the pistol than I am.

Later, I finished up a really nice Carved Snake Cane for a man here in Kentucky. The snake turned out really well, while the brass hame on top seems to just suit the cane.

I coated the snake with the special glow in the dark mixture, which makes the snake glow for just over 10 hours each night.

Stix, The hame looks really nice on top of the walking stick. It must be a radio active snake to glow for that long, or he ate a bunch of fireflies.

Very nice, I like it. Tom

Stixman.
Very nice indeed. I would love to see a glow in the dark snake, as long as it is one of your canes. Don't think I could handle a real live glow in the dark snake.

Safe Carving and God Bless,

Mark

Wonderful work, stixman. The snake looks like it really is working its way up the cane.

Me, I wish all snakes would glow in the dark. Less chance of me surprising one, that way.

Great carving and cane. I like the way the topper is fitted into the cane. Any advice on how you did it?
Thanks for posting a beautiful cane.

Really nice use of that "twist", Stix! OK, what did ya use for the glow??? I'd like to try that stuff for a walking stick for Scouts.
