Not wanting to get into a big carving today,thought Id try carving a Gargoyle,had this old found pine block which I carved this sitting gargoyle from. Just stained him,wasnt going to waste the time to paint him.

Old timey Gargoyles sat on building tops,they were water spouts.

Hes 2 X 4 inches stained. Thanks for your thoughts.

Packed a lot of gargoyle into that little piece of wood. Are those wings in the back...hard to tell from the pics.

Patrick yea his wings are folded behind him. Heres a few more picts,hope you can tell more or see his wings. His tail is on the side at his front feet.
