Default Gallery vs General carving

I have noticed that a lot of folks like to post new carvings under general carving as do I.It seems like you can get more peresonel and have more replies.Does one like the gallery better to show off their work.I am just trying to figure things out.I will have my one year in soon and still observing how the forum works for everyone.

Davy,

There is a good reason to use the gallery, over the message board, that is the non restriction of size for the gallery pics.

If I post to the gallery it is to allow a better image to be looked at as compared to the realtive small pics allowed in the fourm.

But most fourm readers did not like to go to the gallery to view pic, and now it is much eaiser thanks to the work of Fox Chapel and Lynn .
