Hey Garry. I took the Mill carving to carving club tonight for our monthly competition. And I'll be damned if it didn't get carving of the month. Had a competition of 9 other carvings. Last month I took the eagle you have and they didn't say anything about it. Go figure. Have a great day!

Members, I was at that meeting Ron is talking about and there were as he said several artworks on display for the months competition. Ron won it hands down in my humble opinion. FYI all of the club members vote by hidded ballot. It was really no surprise to me when the President announced the winner for the month. A very impressive relief for anybody to present.

Congratsulations again Ron.

P.S. Ron, I couldn't wait to tell all of our friends here on the forum but had to go out of town until today. Sorry Ashbys beat me to it. Good for you Ashbys
