Default Fun with flawed wood

After reading Callynne's thread about her “surprise cyclops Santa”, I was wondering what you guys have done for fun with naturally flawed wood. Here's something I did a while ago. A weird little two-in-one piece, because the wood had rotted away and formed this mouth and eye, with a rather long nose. That image was very bothersome as I didn't quite WANT to use it, but it was there to stay so I just carved in a weasel too. Quite an odd stick!

I carved a piece of butternut recently that was just like me. We are both rotten at the core. Ha Ha
Actually it worked well because the carving was of a cat and the grain looks like swirls in the fur.
Have fun.
