Thumbs up Fred's new Maestro!!

I had heard rumors recently that Mr. Zavadil had a new Maestro piece and sent off an e-mail to Hana, well its another gorgous work of art that is deserving of high praise (Pavariotti under Woodcarving Galleries\Caricatures). BTW, their website has been revamped as well and there are pictures of a large relief Fred is working on...I am in awe...

(Fred/Hana I knew you would not toot your own horn, but this work cannot go unrecognized!)

Amazing - I'd call it more realistic than caricature! Looks just like the man in the Three Tenors videos.

MA, burning and carving is not the same as playing with matches and knives.

OMG, Tony......I appreciate so much your post on Fred's new Pavarotti carving!! I am a huge fan (like everyone else) of Fred's work and that piece is totally incredible. I agree that it looks just like the man, and as usual, his attention to detail, folds in the clothing, grace and style, etc. are just flawless....a magnificent carving to behold! Thanks again, Tony, for the link on this. Bonnie

Thanks for the link. I am a huge Fred Zavadil's fan, always amazed by what comes out of his hands. I heard about the new Pavarotti caricature from a friend who was at the Niagara Woodcarving Show; according to him, somebody filmed Fred while he was carving Pavarotti and they played parts of the video at the show. My friend said that it was really impressive to watch. I am hoping I'll get to see it at one of the few shows Fred goes to next year.
