Default Four Fathers carving painted

I thought someone might like to see the finished painting of the Four fathers carving that was completed last year. It's 21' tall so as you can imagine it was quite a task. I used "Latex solid stain"

Now that is the best piece of chainsaw carving I've seen in quite sometime. Very nice.

Beautiful work Bruce, I'll have to watch for that the next time I'm in Amherst. Where is it located?

Thanks again, Bob it's located just across the train tracks, across from the Elmtree tavern.

Bruce,

That is a phenomenal carving. 21' tall - that must have been fun.

Sorry, but I don't see "four fathers". I do see one father, so I'm betting that maybe you meant to say Fore Fathers??

I believe that there four faces in that carving,.......1 bottom left....2 on the right side of the carving ....1 on top...I think that would be four fathers..............imho

If you put the federal government in charge of the Sahara Desert , in five years there'd be a shortage of sand.

Yes, there are 3 faces and the "bust" at the top - maybe space for some faces on the opposite side. Judging from their hair and beard styles, I'd say they're forefathers (founders) of the city.
