What a great formula!!! I am willing to wear it on my shirt, though my customers may think I am losing my 'gord.'

Actually, I think you, sir, have given the 'necessities of life.' 'Perfect' may include a couple of other things.

Actually, this formula is posted at my desk at work (with no explaination).

I have no plans to market my 'secret formula'.

Woody, If you still remember Algebra class, you can solve for S however you like.

Rick, is W a variable or constant? Assuming that it is constant, the equation is wrong. Trust me, it should be:

L=(S+W/3[sup]2[/sup])[sup]T[/sup]

Where:
L is the perfect life
S is sleep, an unknown constant greater than six and less than ten
W is woodcarving, a constant greater than zero
and T is tools, the larger the number the better!
