Default Forgetfullness

I bought about 10 rubber tips for canes and walking sticks and put them up in a "Special place", where I would remember where they were. Sad Head Bange Yup, you guessed it, Can't find them and I have a cane(eaglehead) for a Scouter(adult) and I can't find the dagburn things. So much for the "Special place" eh? Bet one thing, where I find them, will be the last place I looked.

Must be an old age thing. BUT, I am not old!

Kenny, I'm sure glad I'm not the only one who has that problem,Lol. I told my wife that there is a little "Gremlin" living in my work shop. Every time I lay something down it's been to moved to someplace else and I have to look for it. It also gets in my little refridgerator and eats my candy bars and drinks my 7-up. There is no way I would eat two snickers in a day and drink two 7-ups!Red Face Mike

I am not sure it is old age as I have good memory sometimes. I think it is because we as carvers are usually very busy and thinking of what we should be doing and things we would like to do that sometimes we do things and put things in places and dont remember. I have that problem with my wife, she is always telling me that she has told me something and I never remember her telling me (honest). I think it is because some things dont seem as important as others and we just dont hear what is not interesting to us. I am always finding things Rick that I have stored away and forget about only to go out and purchase them again and again. So you are not alone.

Colin & Kenny, you guys are still way ahead of me; you forget where you put things and buy them again?

I find things that I forgot I ever purchased, occasionally I find the same things in several different places and don't recall buying any of them.

My best trick is going to the store to get something I need; bringing it home and when I put it where it belongs, their are six there already.

Oh yes I almost forgot how about renting a movie that you have already seen, you would not believe how many times I have done that.

Kenny,

When you find the "special place" let us know. I currently have a half dozen assorted cane tips hiding in mine too.
