Default football player

Future son in law is a Huskies football fan so I hope to bond with him with this carving. Hope you enjoy.
While visithing them in Ohio I was able to stop at the Dayton show for a couple of hours. Best show I have ever been too. What talent. I say I carve but when I go to shows like that I realize I just whittle. Hey there is nothing wrong with being a whittler. It was a real treat to see such talent and a few of the carvings I recongized from this forum which made it more special to see up close. Could of spent the whole day there.
Thanks to all
Schemmy

Thanks for the compliments wood-whittler and gene. Windsong I use acrylics and believe it is the apple barrel brand sold at Walmart.
Thanks again

I think your whittling is really great plus the paint job on this carving looks so good! The dog what a great job you did on him also! As for cheap WM paint,I paint alot,I mean alot,I use that apple brand myself! Ive found over the years its not alot of difference in the high dollar paints. Ive learned its not in the paint but in the painter that makes the real difference! Good work and I hope you keep on with your whittling. Tn~
