Default Folk art

Hi folks (hah),

As I've been carving some of my own little gnomey wizards and attempting to do animals, I'm finding that they fit what I perceive as 'folk art' style – a little simplified, and a lot of implied detail and character.

Does anyone know of a good resource to see some projects (finished or step by step) to get some ideas from?

Thanks!

-Howie

When I was doing country type wood crafts I would go to the libray and flip thu a bunch of "country living" and other "good housekeeping" type of magazines. Some neat stuff in them sometimes.

Flat Plane can also be described as simplified and implied so you may want to search using that as key words also.
