Florida Roundup

[Gulf Coast Handyman]

I went to the Fl. roundup both Wednesday and Thursday. I took Ross Oar's class on Wed., Ross is a great person and the class was awesome. Had a great group of people in the class and got a alot of tips in regards to carving, sharpening etc. , beautiful weather as well. Ross still had a couple knives left since selling his business, I picked up a Oar Carver (not the folding knife) for $20.00. On Thurs. I took Ol' Don" Burgdorf class, another great class and had a real good time. Also had the pleasure to meet Christina (Thor) and her husband. Overall it was an awesome experience, can't wait till next years roundup.

Me too Mike, all these carving shows and roundup emptied my piggy bank. Hope you make it next year, it was a great time. When do you head north ?

I'm back from the round up too. Great group of folks, and terrific weather. I had a lot of fun, met a lot of new friends, and saw some folks I hadn't seen in quite some time.
I also picked up a couple of new tools....oops.
I am definitely going again next year.
