Default Fish sticks.

My oldest son was divorced a few years ago and married for the second time last spring.

He married a young woman he had dated back in his first year of college, who was also divorced and had a 7 year old son. They came out to our farm for several visits this past summer and I introduced my new grandson to fishing, and it has become his passion.

A number of years ago I carved walking sticks for each of my other grandchildren and when I asked him what he wanted carved into the stick I would make for him his hesitated all of 1 second and said a fish.

Attached is my attempt at carving a fish into a walking stick. I hope you and he enjoy it. Rainbow trout jump don't they.

For safety sake I had to leave the fins a bit bulky, I don't want slivers from sharp edges.
