Smile First Time ~ All My Eagales

Hi Guys/Gals (Still A Newbie & Learnin' All The X )

Well I must say without braggin' really, I kinda like what I've done with these eagles I've carved.

Never repeated any carving in the four or five I've done. But this time my with and I vacation in Acupulco Mx and I brought a couple of small pieces of brasswood with me to carve or try to the improve on 'em.

Thanks 2 all you guys/gals 4 helping me along the way with your encougement and tips on How 2's.

Please to a look at " all my egales " the there's one eagle I tried a little relief carving with and I don't think it came out 2 bad.

Tell me what you guys/gals think. I so much want to hear what you got to say ?

Thanks again.

I think that they are very nice. I like the variation. Nice way to spend time on the beach.

Thumbs up Wow ! ! ! Thank You Gene

Hey Gene

WOW ! Comin' from a pro like you Gene really lifted my spirits.

And I THANK all you great guys on this wonderful forum.

From what I'm learnin' about I believe the (4) four basic cuts in wood carving;

1. Stop Cut
2. " V " Cut
3. Pear Cut or Slice Cut
4. Darn if I didn't forget the four

Oh well! It just goes to show me (Thank GOD) that I'll Never know it all ~ and that's a good thing.

Again Thanks Gene and all of you who are helping me today and hopefully in the future.
Now back to my PRACTICE STICK

Well, you are almost there Schooner. By the time you are as old as the rest of us, you will be forgeting all four steps. Oh by the way, you are doing some nice clean cuts, which means that you are keeping you knife good and sharp.

Keep it up, Tom
