I have enjoyed reading this forum for quite a while and tomarrow will enter a piece in my first show( rio grande valley woodcarving show) I would like to share it with you. arnie FINISHED 97 WINNER FINISHED 99 I WAS TWO OF TWO BUMMER.

Stunning. I love the base you used and the colors make me miss warmer weather. The roses look so real I skipped the realization that they are carved in wood.
Wonderful work, and I do hope you will let us know how you do in the show.
