Default First dragon head

I tried to send this to Irishman on a private message but couldn't figgure out how to do it. So I guess I have to do it this way. It is an attempted copy of Patricks dragon. It was my first attempt at this kind of carving and hopefully not my last. Bear with me I'll try again.

Default Re: First dragon head

I was searching for these pictures, and here they are. I must say, that's a fine looking dragon...and I'm impressed how closely it resembles the one I posted here a while back - however, there is definitely some of your own influence.
If you recall Wayne, I mentioned that I utilized a number of the carvers dragons on this site as a reference - Bob S was my main reference as he has done a number of dragons. I like to think you have improved on all of our attempts so well done. It's not easy bringing out dragon features on such a small and narrow piece of wood.
