Default First 'Completed' Project

Well, be that as it is, here is my first actually completed project. I call it "Two Lumpy Balls, or Possibly Eggs, in a Cage'. I kept trying to round and smooth the balls and finally got to a point where I was concerned about having an empty cage!!

Oh well, first project is done, nowhere else to go but up from here!

Tucson! You tackled the ball and cage as your first carving ... I AM impressed! Can't wait to see what you do next.

Anyway and anytime the ball stays in the cage it's a successful carving!

Really nice for a first project! I've been wanting to give that a try, but other projects get in the way.

Great job Tuscon! And as with anything, practice makes perfect! If you keep doing them, it'll get easier and easier.

Tuscon, NICE! I sure don't have the patience to attempt anything like that.

Great work, especially for your first! You Sir, have talent and I think we will be seeing great carving from you in the future , if this is any indication of what you can do.

Yep Ron, it started life as a one inch square chunk of basswood.
