Default First Bear Last Bear

I carved both of the walnut bears in 1979, this other one in white oak I just finished in July this year.

You can really see the major skill progression from the 30 years, the first bear standing up is really cute, looks like a baby bear. Good to see you are back from the sand and major carving again!

The first ones are cute little bears but your last one looks outstanding. I'd really like to see the whole thing

You have certainly come along way in your art Don, the experience really shows in your latest bear which I daresay will not be your last. Not that I mind your first ones though. You obviously had a natural talent there from the very beginning. Joe.

Hi Don, from the name on the picture on the left it shows it was your first sale. Must have been exciting. Lots of neat carving. Your last bear is very detailed. Keep it up.

WHEW! When you said "first bear, last bear", I thought you meant you did one and wouldn't do another. Better to show the comparison. That last one is soooo good, don't stop "bearing"!
