Default first bark carving

Well I finally tried bark carving and I like it, a friend said your hooked know. all I put on it is feed&wax Mottles told me to send pictures. Comments welcome

I just love it. I have some bark, that I found in Big Bear Calif. that a bear tore off a tree. very thick stuff. how do you ever start on something like this. your project is great. Evie

Feb, I have done 8 bark carvings now, As fast as I made them I gave them away as gifts but luckily I took photos of them.
My main hobby was Stained glass but it is true once you pick up a piece of bark and start carving you are hooked.
