Great basket weave! It gives me a a new variation on some canes I need to get started. I've done the weave but never thought to distress it with a V tool or veiner. Would be interested to see the fish scales on one of your projects. Bob

For those that asked to see what the fishscale looked like here are my test blocks.

I liked the way the basket weave came out better on my stock than it did on the test block, I would hope that the same would hold true with the fishscale design.
