Default I finished another present

My granddaughter has a collection of crosses on her living room wall. I wanted to make her something to go with the collection. Here is my version of a lily and cross. The cross is walnut (carved with a chisel to get those great facets) and the lily is basswood. I borrowed the idea from Kitaye's spoon. But the drawing is mine. It is 10 inches tall.

She is going to love that. Very nice, Love the contrast from the walnut cross to the white lily.

Joy .. There are some very special piece's and that cross is one of them ..

Joy- very nice carving, the paint job on the Lily is outstanding.
what caught my eye is the simplicity of the total presentation.

I'm sure your your Grandaughter will treasure it.
