| | I finished another present My granddaughter has a collection of crosses on her living room wall. I wanted to make her something to go with the collection. Here is my version of a lily and cross. The cross is walnut (carved with a chisel to get those great facets) and the lily is basswood. I borrowed the idea from Kitaye's spoon. But the drawing is mine. It is 10 inches tall. |

The lily just makes the cross look so peaceful ..
What a great heirloom gift for your granddaughter ..A keepsake she can keep through generations ..
