| Flickr: whittling's Photostream March29 Photos, Meltonian Elf & Gnome Home. click on the pic ,then click on "all size" right above picture Natural Meltonian looks nice on Cottowood, Then I antiqued it with black, as sugested on another thread, Do NOT Antique with Black. Tried to scrub the Elf clean and ended up with a dark face, Now my first Gnome Home,,, Scrubed it with soap and nail brush, Panicing to get the black off., It pretty much cleaned up and I polished it again with natural. yea, its darker, ![]() The bark looks better sprayed, but i dont want to darken the Cottonwood. do you shoe polish users wax/polish and call it Done or do you finish with Def or Varathane? |
