Default Finding No. One

I would like to find the first issue of Wood Carving Illustrated. If anyone knows where I could get one I would appreciate knowing. I really like the magazine and want to own them all. Thanks.

I purchased the 1st issue from Will (The Woodpecker) Hayden through a request like this on the 'net. I will send you his address in a private email (if I can find your email address!).

Thanks Moon Raker. I got his phone number and called him. I got an issue, I think. He will let me know. This message board is a great thing. I look forward to meeting more carvers on the net and especially friendly ones like you.

I have a spare copy of issue #1, in mint condition. If you still need it, you can contact me directly, to discuss price etc.

I have one also, been a subscriber since the first one. I had just got into woodcarving and was looking for a good magazine when I came across news about this one. I thought it was out for awhile. Well my #1 was in the basement in a stack with others and we had a pipe fitting that sprung a leak. The only magazine that got damaged was my #1. I didn't know it was a collectors item. Well I'm afraid the cover is a little warped and not in mint condition. :-/

I'd still keep it as it is always a good reference.
