Finally Friday, daily thread - Mar 26,04

Anybody around today? My Japanese exchange students are very pleasant, they are off shopping w/group today. My carving friend will be over around noon (hopefully). Meanwhile, I think I will put some paint on something.
What are you all up to today, do you have something going this weekend?

I'm still painting 'left over' carvings. I thought I had rounded them all up, but found a few more laying around yesterday. I will be working on re-organizing my workshop with my Dad's help this weekend. I want to add more table space and more shelving also. An electrician is coming to help add more lighting next week and I want to be sure where everything will be before he gets here.

If I can convince my wife that my sore wrist won't keep me from carving but will keep me from pushing a mower I'll be carving this weekend. What do you think I'll be doing? ???

Explain to her the difference in holding a knife and wraping your hands around the mower. Of course, I usually find a high schooler who likes to make $20.

Had some kind of stomack virus all week. starting to feel a little better. hopefully will be able to pick up a knife sometime over the weekend

not much carving this weekend...building a covered parking structure. Hope to get done with all the honey-do's soon so I can get back to the good life

Ric, If your list is like mine, everytime I mark one off, she adds two more.

My Dad 'called in sick', so I will not get much done in the shop as planned. I decided to go into the office and get a few items cleared up so that Monday will go easier. When I was leaving, my 'HOME BOSS' was outlining some tasks that will be waiting for me when I get home :-[ - not much time for carving!

I took advantage of today and spent most of it carving. Tomorrow I have a bunch of commitments to keep and for some reason the housecleaning fairy has been missing my place so I guess that means I'll have to do it myself. :P
