| | Finally done---Kubbestol Hi gang,
Just finished my first ever Kubbestol....Don't know if that makes me Norwegian now or not?? Probably not....
It was a very fun project, started with a hollow basswood log, shaved off the bark, found a pattern and started chipping away. Finished it with Aniline Dye and varathane over that, now have a little wax to put on it.
Darlene and I just put some stuff on Picture Trail for the first time. I have a little of my carving stuff on it and she has some of her leather covered vases/pots in her section. Enjoy!!!! http://picturetrail.com/bremmers

Great carvings, you should be proud. I received a lovely gift of a leather covered vessel from my friends Ole and Mary. Methinks it is one of Darlene's. It is a real treasure to me. Thanks for sharing your pictures.

That is wonderful about the Leather covered vessel from Ole and Mary. I know she had gotten one for someone special, so you must be the special one. I will pass that on to Darlene thank you for sharing that with me.
Hope to get some more photos put up in the next day or two, have to get them dug out from where they might be hiding.
Thanks to you and the others for the comments on the Kubbestol.
