Default Few new Carvings

Here is a group of recent carvings I finished. The Cigar store indian is from a Stu Martin roughout and the Bear cape is from a Moore roughout and the Buffalo is from Smokey Mtn woodcarvers.

Ron at carving shows Ive been around alot of talented great carvers. But theres one I'd love to meet,YOU!

Outstanding carvings,hard to pick a winner from them seeing they all are very well carved with such details.

I sure enjoyed just viewing them,thanks for posting some of your work.

Hi Ron,
That cigar store Indian is wonderful! You have done a very even job on the feathers in his headdress and each tiny cigar is so fine. The bear cape looks like a very large carving with the detail you have in it, yet I know it is just detail in a smaller piece. Great job on the facial expression and finish. The buffalo makes me want to touch it and turn it around to see all sides.
I was sorry that you didn't make it to Chazfest. We had such a good time there and when the word came that you might make it, I was so excited that I was finally going to meet you and perhaps see you with a chainsaw...gulp. Maybe next year it will work out and you and Colin can both be there at the same time.
