I've been busy this week with golf balls. This is some of what I got accomplished. Sometimes I think they are easier to carve than wood, but sometimes soft spots in wood is a welcome relief to these old arthritic joints. The football helmet will be painted with OSU logo. It was a practice piece for one I doing that will have OU on it. Hope you enjoy the pics. Let me know. Michael |

I think they came out great. My son is a big bears fan and I tried making a helmet in the front from the cut off outer layer but it never looked right. Would you mind if I attempted to copy yours ?

Thanks, everyone for your kind comments. Robert, imitation is the best form of flattery. By all means, go for it. I did add color to the helmet, and have done a second one, and I already have someone wanting 2 more. Michael |
