Hey Al, don't listen to those non-believers, I'm SURE you saw a real Fairy, I always knew they were out there!! Definitely has to be that 'not being still or quiet' thing that's kept me from seeing one!

Okay, the second half of that message didn't post, that's weird....must be gremlins, Fairies wouldn't do that!

What I said was to thank you for the links Ed, I want to do a webpage and I hear that's the program to have to remove the background from photos (like all the ones I shot that have the refrigerator in the background!). And the price is perfect! Callynne

Now here is an example of a thread that really got a lot of mileage but really got off topic. Isnt it funny how things can really get so far off topic. It's like whispering a message to 30 different people by the time it gets to the end of the row its a completley different message. I am sure by mentioning this here this thread will now do a complete 180 again. Not complaining I just think it is funny how things happen.Talking

Is that 50% of their asking price, Ed?? I think I can afford that!

Sorry Colin...have you noticed I'm usually involved in that 'getting off topic' thing? Talking Callynne

I hadn't read this thread, because I thought it was about computer instruction, and that was well....but it kept going and going (like you know who with the batteries, and I finally came on and checked out what you guys have been on about. WEll, talk about off topics.

Anyway, I had to drop in and say Callynne, that is a wonderful piece that you shared with this line of chit chat, and I am really glad I dropped in just to have seen it. I am amazed, and impressed, and wonder "how did you do that" all at the same time. Great piece. Please post another picture so everyone can see it in the galleries if you haven't already.

So, ya'll have fun with your conversations.
Thor

Deb. I was reading through this very eclectic thread and two things came up I wanted to comment/question...

First.I am so much more than impressed with your teapot fairy! I first saw it on your website, finished, recently. I honestly thought you had just carved the fairy and the teapot was REAL!!! Now I'm way beyoned impressed! Absolutely beautiful!!!

Someone mentioned your work portable bench. Interesting connection, my "sewing room" is also becoming my carving room. Like you though, I enjoy sitting in the living room with my husband in the evenings watching TV and carving. Do you have a picture/instructions of it? You say your son made it for you? Hmmm, another "honey do" for my hubby!

Most incredible carving!!! WOW!!!

Linda
