| | Re: February Monthly Challenge - Quilt Block No, those are the sections I pierced by mistake. It was photographed sitting on a white piece of paper. I'm thinking I will put a hole in the corner and turn it into a Christmas Tree ornament for my in-laws. |

| | Re: February Monthly Challenge - Quilt Block Thank you Skip! I was going to do a pair of chickens and then changed my mind and did this Turkey. Since I have a pattern drawn, I might still do them. |

| | Re: February Monthly Challenge - Quilt Block My final entry for this month's challenge. It's another 3 x 3 x 1/4" basswood piece. Chip carved in a more complicated pattern than the last one. It's more of a star than a rosette, but I was trying for a rosette feel to it. |

| | Re: February Monthly Challenge - Quilt Block some fine carving so far,
i helped my mother on occasion to make quilt tops as a passing art passion in the rocky mountain winters when i wasn't hauling in firewood or water,
traditional quilt tops are contrasting colors made from scraps, i have tried to plan for making some squares but without doing them in the intarcia or a laminated glue up i dont know how else to do a drunkards path or double wedding ring,
i googled quilt block patterns and found thousands of applicay i guess i could outline then paint,,
any help would be apricated | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
