Default Featured Carver Roger Lyon

This last weekend was the Mid America Woodcarvers annual fall show. I did post some photos that you can see in this thread:
2010 Mid America Show

Here are some additional photos of this years Featured Carver.. Roger Lyon. Roger has been carving for many years. Most of these are carvings that he did at our club seminars at Doane with Dave Stetson and a bunch of items he did with the late great John Burke each year at his western and wildlife seminars. Beautiful carvings.

These are utterly fantastic. Roger is very blessed.
His blending stain and paint in a single piece is awsome.

Wonderful carvings Corey. You can see the Stetson and Burke influence in his work.
