Default Re: Fan Bird

I just got two books on Fan Carving ( by Sally and David Nye ) as a xmas present.
In it they list the woods to use for fan carving and the Workability and Splitting value for each species.

Here`s some of the wood species they list in the book.
White Cedar
Aspen
Blasam fir
Basswood
White Pine

The books have all the information on fan carving with some step by steps,
very well witten book.
