Default Faces in wood

Aye folks
I was down the park yesterdat and cut this from a tree that was blown down in the storms we had last week . when I turned it over and looked I burst out laughing . Got some strange looks from some dog walkers but I thought this was funny.
See if you can see what I mean (Shouldent be to hard)

Cheers

I see him in there Al. Looks as though he might be peeking out to see what happened. Maybe it's just a woodcarving thing?

HEY !!! I KNOW THIS TREE!!! It's one of those "Happy Tree's" that Bob Ross allways talked about when he was painting them on PBS television. LOL.
I can imagine seeing this same design in the center of an Osage Orange peice of wood....a yellow happy face.
Thanks for sharing this with us Al...It's good to chuckle some times.

I see him too or maybe a she! We have a redwood tree right off our porch and every night his face appears in the bark and where it lost some limbs! Can't really see him in the light.
