Default Eyes on a carving!

I have been admiring the various carvings posted in messages, and in the gallery, especially the ways in which the eyes are none. There is just so much talent here, that I cannot help but make a request.

How many folks are willing to take a close up photo of the eyes on one of your carvings, and post it? If we could do this, it would make a fantastic reference. I wouldn't even consider asking that you all include tips as to how you do the eyes. I am thinking that we need examples of the simplest to the most detailed.

Cliff, Here's a clue to why I would like to see close ups of how others do eyes.

Thanks Cliff,

It is a change of concept I am working on. It has come a long why since I did those. But I think when you see some of the progression, you see what I am doing.

Thanks Ash, it's a start. Come on folks! jump in. Help some new carvers, and some of the rest of us out. This isn't a contest. I got my new type of study stick ready to try out some of these examples on.

Thanks

Also, if you do a google search on "carving eyes" you will get a bit of additional information.

I can't very well ask without doin it myself. Here's two examples of very simple eyes. Just a wee bit of depression carved out, then paint.
