tony,
thanks for the pictures, they help refresh my mind as to what i did see, so it was not a dream?
as the man said, i don't think I'll pick up a knife again, but after being ,for lack of a better word, humbled by the beauty of it all, you find out the carvers are the most human of all,
sorry i didn't get to meet you , don't know how you missed me, the guy with his mouth wide open and shaking his head!
since this was my first trip to a major show, the question is, the Dayton show is , the biggest?
most, carvers? vendors? just how does it rate.
just want to know if any where else would match up, that way i can plan to go and work on my jaw to keep it shut, get a bigger camera, and more comfortable shoes.
thanks.
Sam

Thanks for all the photos and the report. Sounds like a not to be missed type of event. I have yet to make it to any carving show. This one sure looks like it's a doozy!

Cheers

It's the number one in my book. The Congress show is just a compettition....no individual booths, etc. Or at least it used to be that way..havent been in a while. If someone knows of another show as large as Dayton please let me know as I'd like to go!!

MA, burning and carving is not the same as playing with matches and knives.
