Default Even bigger carving Block

How would you like to tackle a carving block like this. That is one big log I would give anything to try a woodspirit in that baby.

oh sorry BTW the log is 6 feet in diameter.I dont know what kind of wood it is but I would guess Douglas Fir.

WOW.....that's a lifetime's worth of wood sitting there to a ship modeller! Smile But me thinks it might be a mite difficult for me to handle, although.....where there's a will, there's a way!

well with a 20 inch chain saw.....looks like about a months work !!!!!!!!!!

Give me a week ok maybe 3 to recover and I can cut one side while you do the other Colin !
