Can someone explain ESTY to me please. Is it good or bad, or should you stay away from it. Does it achieve results at a reasonable price after charges to make it profitable.
I live in Australia, and Esty is a US site, do you think it is worth while trying to venture into that market with my carving pieces.
Any advice would be appreciated.

Regards,
Terry

I never tried the site, you might try to sell one piece and see how you do. Thats what I did with Ebay, I was not selling my carvings but hardware items. Sometimes you loose, some you do well.

Terry there are people from all over the world that belong to ETSY. Joining is free, they charge a 20 cents for each piece posted,is good for 4 months and then you can renew. I have been on for 4 yrs have sold 10 pieces but all on the low end price wise. IT has information pages to help you,and explains it all.

The site explains everything, I've been on Etsy almost or just over 1 year sold 14 items and sold probably 5 items privatly to people who seen my shop on Etsy, prices varied from $10-$200 usd.

I have purchased beads there, I had no problems. Might be worth a try for you.
