Default Enlow Study Casts

Moderators, please delete this if it's inappropriate.

I still think that it's a great idea to make your own study sticks but I won a lot containing carving books and Enlow castings on ebay. I later learned that they usually come with an info sheet. Does anybody have sheets for the "Hair Ball", the "Eye Cone" and the "Ugly Stick"? contact me?

Thanks in advance,
mikeg

Mike,
I've had two of these study sticks for nearly 15 years--got them from Harold himself, but don't remember there being any kind of instruction with them.

Thomp,

Thanks for the edit and the suggestions. It was a quick post last night and it didn't feel quite right, hence the 1st line.

Does anybody have Harold Enlow's email address? I'll also try your other suggestion of checking with vendors.

Donna,

It's been a VERY busy week so I only had a chance to glance at the ones that came with some of the casts. They didn't looks so much like instructions on how to carve the subject, more like pointers.

Thanks for the mailing address, looks like that may be the best way to contact him.

Donna, the sheets that I have are for the nose cone: it describes each nose such as "old, hanging over', "ball nose", or "wide, thick". For the Lipstick the sheet is similar, a lot of them are listed as emotions or descriptions as "pursed lips", "indian mouth", "snarl", or "pout". The eyepiece teaching aid does describe the cuts he uses to make an eye plus descriptions of various eyes he carved on the cast.

So, I'm trying to find out if there is a sheet for the hairball and the ugly stick. Plus the one I have for the eyepiece teaching aid has a hole in it so I've lost a a couple of lines of text.
