Default Elf carving

Hi everyone,

Here is my version of the Christmas Elf Ornament in the Hand Carved Holiday Gifts issue of WCI. This was the most detailed carving I've tried, and I welcome your comments and suggestions.

Thanks,

Bill

Looks good, Bil. The photos are a bit dark, but you did a fine job on the carving. Thanks for sharing.

Hi Bill,You are doing good, a comment that I see is , Take more of the Nose off between the eyes, it seems to be to thick. The middle of the Hat should be rounded more. Just my thinking, stay with it your getting it. Merle

Thanks for the feedback, Merle. I will definitely work on my noses and hats on my next one.

I haven't decided which type of carving I prefer. I just bought a piece of cottonwood bark at a show and I want to try to carve a whimsical house.

Thanks again,

Bill
