Merle, Cliff, Forrest, RonT, Eddy, Carl, Gene, Burtoni, cannuckcarver, Kris, Dave, Christina, Sharon, DADDIO. Thank, you ALL for your nice and fun compliments about 'Elf.' LOL I hope Mark feels the same way as you all. You know I have to laugh because 'Elf' didn't really start out to end with this look. All I had in mind was to carve an elf with soft features. The more I carved the more my 'Elf' took on that look. I knew exactly how I wanted to paint 'Elf' and what color's I wanted to use. Couldn't help myself it was as if 'Elf' was guiding me though the process. I'll leave it to you whether you think my 'Elf' is a male or female. It's been great to read your comments. A friend and art teacher of mine once told me to always strive to tell a story with my paintings. I really feel that can be said of carving too. Let the viewer be part of the process! Thanks, Again Everyone Kathy
