Smile Easter Bunnys

Here are a couple of bunnys I carved for my Granddaughters. The basic pattern came from a pattern in the #11 year 2005 issue of Carving Magazine.
The wood I used was 2x2x6 Bass wood. I carved the egg seperate and glued in place. Painted with thined acrylic and then 3 coats of Deft sealer Semi-gloss.

Hi cgm, That is total cute and appropriate for the season. I would guess there are a lot of youngsters and maybe even some olders who would like to have one of them for a gift. Way to go. Al

I have come a long ways since I first started carving. Lots of study and a huge amount of Practice.

Great bunnies Carl! I can see why your granddaughters and their mother loved them...they are really cute! Now you got me wanting to start another project for my grandkids! I particular like what you did with the little fellow on the left's right ear (a little smaller and bent...)...gives him alot of character... Again, nice carving! Thanks for sharing!
