Default DVD Reviews

Heyy all,
I've been wanting to pick up some good carving DVDs. Can anyone reccommend some good ones and tell me where they can be purchased?

Thank you,
Dan

And just what type of carving are we talking about?

www.carvingvideos.com has some great caricature type dvd's.

I have Mark Aker's Santa Bust dvd.
The production is well made an Mark's instructions are very clear.

This site has other carving videos which include Chip carving, relief, fish to name a few.

I have only seen two The Jack Price DVD and Harley Refsal figure carving Scandinavian Style both I think are excellent. The CCA has two Cd's one is a Jack Price project (50 patterns) the other is called Caricature Carvers of America 10th Anniversary Signature Collection which give a brief history of each carver and a pattern from each one with the exception of Tom Wolfe . There is no instructions given on the Cd's

I have most of what has been released and they are top quality carving dvd's. My personal favorite is Mark Akers.. but have just purchased the knew one from Larry N. I like that not everything is from a rough out as well.

Here's the one I own and really like.
Home*** News & Notes*** Shows &
It's Floyd Rhadigan's introduction to caricature carving. Really good on faces, expressions, and painting.

Just my 2 cents,
Doug
