I have started thinking about getting a dust collector. It will mostly be used for my bandsaw, and occasional sanding. I thought one of the portable dust collectors might be a good choice, but most of them seem to be 30 micron. I definately want better filtration, so can I get a 1 micron bag and use it instead of a 30 micron OR am I better off with a different system (I have some money to spend, but not a fortune)? Also, if anyone has one of these types, how bad is the noise level? Since it is in my basement, I can't take all the noise from my shop vac. I realize this type of question had been asked, but I have read so much about it, I think I'm even more confused then I was before ![]() Thanks, Eric |
