All I can tell you about them is they are made in England ... Could be good, could be bad, could be in the middle. Remember, even the Swiss make cheap watches.

I get some of my best Knives and gouges from Gil Drake from arlington, wa. I don't have his website, but their e-mail is 'gilbertldrake@aol.com' he has custom knives made from designs of some of the top carvers in the great northwest... Gil is (my opinion) one of the best cowboy caracture carvers in the country. Art

The ones I was referring to are full sized mallet tools, to doubt it.

Gil Drake is a local knife and cabinet maker here in Western Washington.
He makes palm tools and knives with a typical price of about $30.00 I believe.
Some folks love his tools, and others have differing opinions.
I have only used one of his knives so I can't make a knowledgable assessment of their quality.

I have several tools made by Gil Drake. I like the edge and the way it keeps it sharpness. No complaints at all here. My only problem is (like most carvers) I want more and more tools.

I have always been a tool freak
used to work on cars as a hobby
have all kind of small speciality tool
Sure was glad when Auto Zone would rent you the tool and give you all your rental back when you returned the tool

Now I carve
Starting to get a lot of different carving tools
Now i want to add leather crafting to my hobby as well
just bought a bunch of tools from Ebay
and went and checked out the leather factory store today

Wish I had won that 230 million lottery
The tool store would have been glad to see me

No wait
I might have bought a tool store
Naw
Just buy an old strip mall and open up several different kind of tool stores
Yeah that sounds better
